How We Got the Client
Veloura Skincare found us through Instagram, where their brand manager had noticed one of our client’s social accounts and reached out to ask who was managing it. The brand had a beautiful product line and strong visual identity, but their social media presence was not doing justice to either. Posts were inconsistent, engagement was almost nonexistent, and their follower count had barely moved in over a year despite having a genuinely good product.
We put together a short content and account audit showing exactly where the gaps were, including posting frequency, content format mix, hashtag strategy, and community response time. That audit presentation led directly to a proposal and a signed agreement within the same week.
What We Ensure in the Client Meeting
Before starting any social media project, we run a structured onboarding meeting to align on brand voice, content direction, and what success looks like. For Veloura Skincare, this meeting covered:
- ✓ A deep dive into Veloura’s brand identity, tone, and visual guidelines
- ✓ Full access review: Instagram, Facebook, and existing content library
- ✓ Defining their target audience: age, interests, skincare concerns, and buying behavior
- ✓ Identifying hero products and upcoming launches to build campaigns around
- ✓ Agreeing on content approval workflows before anything goes live
- ✓ Setting clear KPIs: engagement rate, follower growth, reach, and link-in-bio traffic
For lifestyle and beauty brands especially, this step matters because the wrong tone or visual direction can do more damage than silence. Getting complete brand alignment before producing a single piece of content meant everything we published genuinely felt like Veloura, not like generic social media content.
Project Overview
Veloura Skincare is a premium skincare brand with a product range built around clean ingredients and elevated everyday rituals. The brand had strong visual aesthetics and a loyal core customer base, but its social media presence across Instagram and Facebook was posting inconsistently, generating very little engagement, and failing to reach the wider audience the brand deserved.
The goal of the project was to build a consistent, on-brand social media presence across both platforms that grew Veloura’s audience, drove meaningful engagement, and extended campaign reach through a combination of owned content, community management, and influencer partnerships.
Before Performance: Where They Started
Here is a snapshot of Veloura Skincare’s social media performance across Instagram and Facebook in the month before we began working together, covering both platforms combined rather than any single post or campaign.

Monthly Organic Reach

At this stage, Veloura was posting roughly once or twice a week with no consistent content calendar, no Reels strategy, minimal community responses to comments and DMs, and no influencer partnerships in place. Posts were reaching a very small percentage of their own followers, and almost no new audience was discovering the brand through social.
The Challenge
Before working together, Veloura Skincare faced a set of problems common to growing beauty and lifestyle brands on social media:
- ✓ Inconsistent posting with no content calendar or strategic planning behind it
- ✓ No Reels or short-form video content, missing the highest-reach format on both platforms
- ✓ Very low engagement rate, with comments and DMs going unanswered for days
- ✓ No influencer or creator partnerships to expand reach beyond existing followers
- ✓ No reporting or analytics review, so there was no way to know what content was working
Our Strategy
We built a full social media strategy for Veloura across Instagram and Facebook, combining consistent branded content, active community management, and influencer partnerships to grow reach, engagement, and followers simultaneously.
- ✓ Social Media Content Strategy
- ✓ Creative Post & Reel Design
- ✓ Instagram & Facebook Management
- ✓ Community Engagement & Growth
- ✓ Influencer Collaboration Campaigns
- ✓ Monthly Analytics & Performance Reporting
1. Social Media Content Strategy
We built a monthly content calendar mapping every post, Reel, and Story across both platforms, with a structured mix of product content, educational skincare posts, lifestyle imagery, and campaign-specific content tied to product launches and seasonal moments.
2. Creative Post & Reel Design
We produced on-brand static posts and short-form Reels designed to perform within the Instagram and Facebook algorithms, with visual templates consistent with Veloura’s premium aesthetic and caption formats built to drive saves, shares, and comments.
3. Instagram & Facebook Management
We took over full day-to-day management of both accounts, publishing content on an optimized schedule, managing Stories, responding to comments and DMs promptly, and keeping both profiles consistently active and on brand.
4. Community Engagement & Growth
We implemented a proactive community engagement strategy, responding to every comment and DM, engaging with followers and relevant accounts in the skincare and wellness space, and building the kind of genuine community interaction that drives algorithm visibility and organic follower growth.
5. Influencer Collaboration Campaigns
We identified and managed partnerships with skincare-focused micro and mid-tier influencers whose audiences matched Veloura’s ideal customer profile, coordinating gifting, content briefs, and campaign timing to maximize reach and authentic product advocacy.
6. Monthly Analytics & Performance Reporting
Every month, Veloura received a clear performance report covering engagement rate, follower growth, reach, top-performing content, and influencer campaign results across both platforms, with content direction adjusted each month based on what the data showed was working.
The Results: Before vs After
Within the engagement period, Veloura Skincare saw significant, measurable growth across both Instagram and Facebook. Here is the direct before and after comparison.
| Metric (Both Platforms) | Before | After | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Average Engagement Rate | 0.6% | 3.1%+ | 412% increase |
| Total Followers | 4,200 | 32,200+ | 28K+ new followers |
| Campaign Reach | Minimal | 3.7M | 3.7M total reach |
“Our social media always looked nice but nothing was happening. Since working with this team, our accounts feel alive, our community actually interacts with us, and the influencer campaigns brought in customers we never would have reached on our own.” — Veloura Skincare
Key Takeaway
Veloura’s growth came from treating social media as a system rather than a posting schedule: a content strategy built around what their audience actually engages with, consistent community management that made followers feel heard, and influencer partnerships that extended reach far beyond what organic posting alone could achieve. For beauty and lifestyle brands, this is what turns a quiet social presence into a growing, engaged community that actively supports the brand.
