How We Got the Client
ForgeFit Apparel came to us through a direct message on Instagram. Their marketing manager had been following our work for one of our other lifestyle clients and reached out to ask if we worked with apparel brands. The brand had strong product quality and a clear identity, built around functional fitness wear for people who take their training seriously, but their social channels were inconsistent, their TikTok account was barely active, and engagement across all platforms was flat despite a decent existing following.
We put together a short competitive audit showing how other brands in the fitness apparel space were winning on TikTok and Instagram Reels with creator-led content, and mapped out where ForgeFit was missing those opportunities. That audit became the starting point for a full proposal and a signed engagement within two weeks.
What We Ensure in the Client Meeting
Before starting any social media project for an apparel or lifestyle brand, we run a structured onboarding meeting to align on brand identity, content tone, and growth goals. For ForgeFit Apparel, this meeting covered:
- ✓ A deep dive into ForgeFit’s brand identity, target athlete, and what the brand stands for beyond the product
- ✓ Full access review: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and existing content and UGC library
- ✓ Identifying hero products, upcoming launches, and key campaign moments in the fitness calendar
- ✓ Defining the ideal community: gym-goers, functional fitness athletes, recreational trainers
- ✓ Agreeing on influencer and UGC content guidelines and approval workflows
- ✓ Setting clear KPIs: impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, and UGC volume
For fitness and apparel brands, authenticity is everything. The wrong influencer or the wrong content tone can make a brand feel manufactured in a space where the audience values realness above all else. Getting complete alignment on brand voice and creator standards before producing any content was essential to everything that followed.
Project Overview
ForgeFit Apparel is a fitness apparel brand producing performance wear designed for serious training. The brand had a strong product line, a clear design identity, and a core base of loyal customers, but its social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok was underperforming significantly relative to the quality of the brand and the size of the opportunity in the fitness content space.
The goal of the project was to build a vibrant, consistently active social presence across all three platforms that strengthened brand awareness, grew a genuinely engaged community, and generated the kind of organic impressions and UGC that compound over time and reduce reliance on paid acquisition.
Before Performance: Where They Started
Here is a snapshot of ForgeFit Apparel’s social media performance across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok in the month before we began working together, covering all three platforms combined.

At this stage, ForgeFit was posting inconsistently across Instagram and Facebook with no TikTok strategy in place, using mostly product-only photography with no lifestyle or training context, no influencer or UGC programme, and very little community interaction in comments or DMs. Posts were reaching a small fraction of existing followers and the accounts were barely growing.
The Challenge
Before working together, ForgeFit Apparel faced a set of challenges common to fitness and apparel brands trying to grow on social media in a crowded, creator-driven space:
- ✓ Inconsistent posting with no clear content strategy across any of the three platforms
- ✓ Content was product-focused rather than community or lifestyle-led, limiting engagement
- ✓ TikTok account was largely inactive, missing the platform where fitness content performs best
- ✓ No influencer or UGC programme generating authentic third-party content about the brand
- ✓ Community comments and DMs were going unanswered, weakening the sense of brand community
Our Strategy
We built a full social media strategy for ForgeFit Apparel across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, combining high-quality branded content, short-form video production, active community management, and a structured influencer and UGC programme.
- ✓ Instagram, Facebook & TikTok Management
- ✓ Content Creation & Brand Photography
- ✓ Short-Form Video & Reel Production
- ✓ Influencer & UGC Campaign Management
- ✓ Community Engagement & Social Growth
- ✓ Monthly Social Media Analytics & Reporting
1. Instagram, Facebook & TikTok Management
We took over full day-to-day management of all three platforms, publishing on an optimized schedule for each channel, managing Stories and TikTok with platform-specific content formats, and keeping ForgeFit consistently visible and active across every touchpoint.
2. Content Creation & Brand Photography
We produced lifestyle-led brand photography that moved beyond flat product shots to show ForgeFit’s apparel in real training environments, giving the content the energy and authenticity the fitness audience responds to and building a consistent visual identity across all three platforms.
3. Short-Form Video & Reel Production
We built a short-form video production pipeline specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels, creating training content, product highlight videos, behind-the-scenes footage, and trend-led formats that consistently generated strong organic reach and shares within the fitness community.
4. Influencer & UGC Campaign Management
We built and managed a structured influencer and UGC programme, identifying fitness athletes, gym creators, and lifestyle influencers whose audiences matched ForgeFit’s community, coordinating product seeding, content briefs, and campaign timing across multiple simultaneous creator partnerships.
5. Community Engagement & Social Growth
We implemented a proactive community management approach, responding to every comment and DM across all three platforms, engaging with fitness accounts and potential customers in the niche, and fostering the genuine two-way interaction that transforms a follower count into a real brand community.
6. Monthly Social Media Analytics & Reporting
Every month, ForgeFit received a clear performance report covering impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, top-performing content, and influencer campaign results across all three platforms, with content and creator strategy adjusted each month based on the data.
The Results: Before vs After
Within the engagement period, ForgeFit Apparel saw significant, measurable growth across all three platforms combined. Here is the direct before and after comparison.
| Metric (All Platforms) | Before | After | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Campaign Impressions | Minimal | 6.4M | 6.4M total impressions |
| Total Followers | 5,800 | 36,800+ | 31K+ new followers |
| Average Engagement Rate | 0.8% | 3.9%+ | 389% increase |
“Our social media went from something we posted on occasionally to a genuine community of people who actually care about the brand. The TikTok growth alone brought us customers we never would have reached through Instagram, and the UGC content our creators produce is some of the best we have ever had.” — ForgeFit Apparel
Key Takeaway
ForgeFit’s growth came from treating social media as a community-building engine rather than a broadcasting channel: lifestyle and training content that resonated with a real audience, short-form video that earned organic reach on TikTok and Reels, a structured influencer and UGC programme that generated authentic third-party advocacy at scale, and active community management that made every follower feel like part of the brand. For fitness and apparel brands, this is what turns a quiet social presence into a compounding asset that builds brand loyalty and drives long-term growth.
